Beside this, we also teach various topics in Mathematics to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of different Engineering and Science Departments.The Department also offers facilities for research work leading to Ph.D. degree in different branches of Pure and Applied Mathematics. Department had collaborated with different National and International organizations and has expertise in various diversified fields of Mathematics. Our Department also offers consultancies in Mathematical modeling and solution of various industrial and real-life problems.

This colloquium can provide foundations of theoretical and computational approaches for intensive research in various advancement of fluid flow and heat transfer progress in all aspects.

The goal of the colloquium is to gather scholars from different departments of IIT Roorkee as well as all over India to enhance their interest in the fields of transport phenomena and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This colloquium will also provide an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields. This colloquium includes invited keynote talks by distinguished experts from academia (across the globe) spread over seven days. It would serve as a platform for young researchers in IIT Roorkee as well as in India to meet and discuss with academic experts and get motivated further to produce high-quality research. The program is useful to mathematicians, scientists and engineers, keen to step into this fascinating area.
